Since the stamp choosing is going so well, any thoughts as to what disc(s) we'd want to have stamped?
At this point, I'd say keep the field open (no specific manufacturer) until we see where most folks are sitting. I also realize that something like an Aviar is popular and figured to be a "can't miss" disc; however, let's think about discs YOU would want to purchase, since it looks like it's going to be a Bryan Park stamp and that stamp is quite Richmond-centric.
*Bump* new image added.
The club has been talking about making a run of discs with a custom stamp. I've engaged a couple folks who have volunteered some rough ideas for a stamp. These can be fleshed out a little and will be fine tuned if chosen.
We need to narrow this down to one choice by 7/1 and notify them.
Please look them over and discuss. The stamps are

If you're an artist and would like to throw something into the running, please send artwork to me and I'll get it included.
Please go to the Polls section and vote for your favorite stamp.
Stamps can be viewed by following the link in the post about stamps.
I've revived the poll in the hopes that more people will vote than 7. This is a club choice and if we're going to put a stamp on a disc, then we need to start moving.
This guy has a bunch of discs (new and used) for sale. Prices are good. If you're looking for some plastic (especially gateway), it's worth taking a look:

Bean suggest we try to alternate duncroft and bryan park on thursdays. We will see if we can get people out there today, 28th. What do you think???
Looks like Roy, Thomas and Mike McKone were at it again starting clean-up work on the alternate for #9. Take a gander down that fairway and see how strong you'd feel about a birdie!
The teepad has to be fixed (it's the cracked one off the fairway on #4), if you have any suggestions, I'm sure they're entertaining just about anything.
If you seem 'em around, be sure to thank 'em for their hard work.
Here's some photo's of the award ceremony. I guess I could have taken some while playing, but I'm too much of a slacker (and after the second round I was too busy bailing water).
Hope the link works:

It appears that if you use a smiley and then go back and edit, it gets screwed up somehow. It seems to work if you just use the smiley, then submit and not go back and edit.
If you edit, you might try removing the smiley and adding it again when you submit.
Times I wish I knew more about the web programming aspect than I do.
Thanks Mike McKone for clearing that fallen tree on hole 16. A tree had fallen over on top of the canopy and was pushing it down limiting the height on the fairway. Mike pulled it down and took it away.
Make sure you say thank you Mike every time you get a great high shot down the fairway that plops up on the green.
