Courses : Rick Tortone fund raiser
Posted by F-N Randy on 2010/8/5 18:58:03 (275 reads)

Lets unite to help out this great individual. Nobody that has ever experienced Rick would ever turn their backs on him.

my only harsh feelings are that he always beat me at disc golf.

August 8th

Gillies Creek/ Dorey park

a one day, two round fund raiser

20$ for every participant
100% payout to the Tortones
100% pride for the participants.

9:30 tee-time Dorey shorts Gillies longs after lunch.

The plan is, to use it as is.

if for what ever reason a basket is not in the typical long location, then oh well.

It would however be nice to get 8 moved, but if it can't get done, then I really probably won't ruin the world.

I do though, have plans of marking some long tees for some of the holes. Possibly even doing a little safari...you never know what the TD might come up with.

What is the plan on getting the course set into the long layout?

Maybe you should have it at gillies and I will bring an exra basket to add a hole....keep from having to drive both places and maybe you could use 9's long tee-pad...sooo many options at gillies

One more thought...

each and every person that pays their club dues and joins us between now and the fundraiser will have his/her dues donated to the Tortones.

Perhaps we should add in $100 or more from the club bank account ? I'll be there to support RT.
